![]() Welcome to Science 30! I look forward to another great semester here at Chestermere High School! For many of you, this will be your final semester of high school, which is very exciting, but comes with it's own set of challenges! Please make sure to check out this website weekly, to see what is going on and what is coming up! I will have helpful links and messages to do with Diplomas and any relevant information! It is important to keep these lines of communication open, to ensure a quality relationship between teachers, parents and students. Success is best achieved when we are all on the same page! In an effort to ensure Life Long Learning, I will be out of the school on Wednesday February 4 for a Leadership Conference at Rocky View School Division. Although extremely beneficial to my teaching practice, it is quite frustrating as it is the 3rd day of school. I apologize in advance for any confusion or inconvenience. There will be a small research assignment provided to enhance the learning that day. Students will be allowed time to complete all work assigned so far as well. Science 30 is often thought of as an easy science class, however this is untrue. Effort is required to be successful in Science 30, similar to the other science classes. The benefit of Science 30 is that you experience a variety of sciences and learn a variety of topics.
