![]() There are only 2 days left for classes in science 30. Two days to complete the major (final) project for unit d, and complete the 5% In Class Final Exam! Monday morning I will be doing a quick review of everything students need to know for the exam. I will be asking the science 30s to go through the "need to knows" with me, and then allow them time to study or work on their final project. It is my hope that most of the students will be done the project and will be ready to study! A reminder that the in class final exam is worth 5% of the overall grade, however, if the mark is an improvement over the midterm, it CAN replace the midterm grade. That means that this final exam could be worth 20% overall. The in class final is 40 diploma style questions, that consist of only multiple choice and numerical response. The students will be provided with 2 hours to work on the exam. Once the exam and project are complete, students just need to study for the diploma.... the very last diploma of the semester :( The science 30 diploma exam is Thursday January 28 at 9am. Beginning Wednesday this week, classes are NOT mandatory for the science 30s. They are able to come in and ask questions or study if they desire, however there is no requirement for them to be in classes (mainly because the English / Social diplomas are during science 30 class time in the morning Wednesday and Thursday!)
