![]() Last week the science 30s got their first taste of the Chemistry Unit. Being a much more difficult unit, a few of the students were not big fans. However, I really think that many of the kids have build up chemistry and physics to be super "difficult", even thought they are all capable of being very successful in it, with a little bit of effort. So here's hoping they will keep trying, and maybe enjoy the chemistry along the way!? This week, the science 30s will learn about acids and bases within the atmosphere, and they will learn Titrations, a lab technique used in the environmental industry even today, to assess the concentration of acid in the environment. It's going to be a great week! This week in Science 30 Monday: Topic 3 Acid Deposition Tuesday: Topic 4 Quantifying Acids Wednesday: Titration Quick Lab Thursday: Unit B Quiz 1 (Topic 1-3) Friday: Topic 5 Tech + Acid Rain Upcoming Due Dates: Wed Oct 19: Indicator Quick Lab due Thurs Oct 20: Unit B Quiz 1 (Topic 1-3) Tues Oct 25: Titration Quick Lab due
