![]() Last week the chem 30s learned (probably) one of the most important and useful concepts of Thermochemistry: Calorimetry. They also completed their first quick lab and quiz. Many students weren't as successful as they might have expected to be on the quiz, luckily they are not worth anything in chem 30, and are meant for a learning opportunity. This week, we will continue that idea with everyday calorimetry and efficiency. It is my hope that the students will have no homework over convention break, unless they are studying for their unit test. This week in Chem 30 Monday: Topic 6 Everyday Calorimetry Tuesday: Marshmallow Quick Lab Wednesday: Topic 7 Energy Exchange Thursday: Quiz Topic 4-6 Friday: Inquiry Lab Prep Upcoming Due Dates Thurs Feb 16: Quiz Topic 4-6 Fri Feb 17: Marshmallow Quick Lab due Thurs Mar 2: Unit A Test Mon Mar 13: Inquiry Lab due
