![]() Last week the chem 30s had their first unit exam. There were some very high marks (like 90s!) and there were some quite low marks... And there were some in between. Luckily, this week, the students are able to perform the rewrite exam after school on Thursday, prior to PTIs! Even if they shouldn't be able to (if they have late or not handed in assignments) I will allow them to rewrite - they just have to put in the effort. So, what does your son or daughter have to do to rewrite this test? 1. Complete all test corrections 2. Complete every booklet question assigned prior to the break 3. Sign in a work on CHEMISTRY during FLT every day this week... ***Mandatory if they have late assignments and should technically not be able to rewrite, optional if they are eligible to rewrite*** Other than the rewrite, we should have a pretty fun week! This unit is more theory, less calculations, so those students that aren't big on math and more about understanding the theory will love this unit! This Week in Chem 30 Monday: Topic 1 Intro to Electrochem Tuesday: Topic 2 Oxidation Numbers Wednesday: Work Period (Lab prep) Thursday: Topic 3 Spontaneity (Quick Lab) Friday: Work Period (project) Upcoming Due Dates in Chem 30 Mon Mar 13: Inquiry Fuel Calorimeter Lab due Wed Mar 15: Spontaneity Quick Lab due Thurs Mar 16: Quiz Topic 1-3 Reminder! Parent Teacher Interviews are Thursday March 9! Only 5 Spots Left!
