Last week in chemistry 20, we reviewed everything students should know about chemistry from science 10. A lot of students found this extremely easy, which is fantastic! IF your student is not one of those kids that found the review easy, or if your student is not feeling confident in chem already, I strongly suggest finding an experienced tutor. Unfortunately, quality chemistry tutors are few and far between, but I would suggest finding a tutor who has taught chemistry in high school before, as university chem is significantly different than high school, so a chem major may not understand the curricular requirements for chem 20!
This week (prior to the break) we will be learning about chemical bonding and completing half of the unit a learning. After the break, students will be asked to demonstrate their understanding of the material through labs and projects!
