![]() Last week there was a drastic wave of ups and downs. Let's start with the positive, (almost) every student handed in their SQA lab on time... negatives, the quiz marks were pretty low, proving that most kids didn't really practice by doing their assigned class work. This fact was proven even more, by the 2 work periods students did not effectively use, closing out the week. Kids were provided with 2 classes to research and prepare their one page biomagnification project. At my checks, most kids had completed nothing by the end of the second day. That's pretty frustrating, and makes me rethink providing in class work time at all. That being said, this week is a busy learning week, so hopefully kids are doing their class work when they get time, as they have a lot to learn prior to the unit test! This Week in Chem 20 Monday: Topic 6 Arrhenius Tuesday: Topic 7 pH Wednesday: Topic 8 Measuring pH Thursday: Indicator Lab Friday: Work Period... maybe Upcoming Due Dates Tues May 3: Biomagnification Project due Mon May 9: Indicator Lab due Tues May 10: Unit C Solution Acid Base Test
