This week in Chem 20, we are beginning with a quiz. I don't feel too bad about holding a quiz the first day back after a long weekend, because the chem 20s have had a variety of work periods and alot of time to ask questions and clear up any issues they have! After that, its on to Limiting and Excess Reagents, as well as % Yield Calculations... probably the most difficult part of all of chem 20, but also the final 2 lessons!
I would also like to take this time to again invite you all to the Exhibition of Learning this Thursday, May 26 from 5pm-8pm. We in the science department are running the Science Olympics, in which students will be provided with "black box items" to create a Rube Goldberg Machine! Should be fun, and quite competitive! This Week in Chem 20 Tuesday: Quiz 1 (Topic 1-4) Wednesday: Topic 5 (Limiting and Excess) Thursday: %Yield Lab Prep / Work Period Friday: Topic 6 % Yield Upcoming Due Dates in Chem 20 Tues May 24: Quiz 1 Topic 1-4 Wed May 25: Titration Quick Lab due Science Olympics: Thursday May 26 from 5-8pm!
